Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), 49-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Poly Prep Country Day upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Fieldston (Bronx, NY) to play the Eagles in a Ivy Prep bout on Monday, February 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Fieldston lost 53-30 in their recent league bout against Dalton (New York, NY)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY) in a Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens II bout, on Wednesday, February 7. St. Edmund Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 61-30 non-league loss to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY).
