The Richfield Spartans basketball team (Richfield, MN), was overwhelmed 70-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN)
The Tigers now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a AAA Section 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Princeton will confront a Magic team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Magic record now stands at 17-3.
The Spartans (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Hawks come into the AAA Section 6 battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Robbinsdale Cooper was overwhelmed by Fridley (Fridley, MN), 57-48, in a non-league battle.
