In Saturday's league outing, the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) basketball squad edged the host Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), by a count of 37-35.

The Red Wolves (16-11) will now prepare for their outing against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors go into the South Suburban - Blue outing with a 16-12 record. In their last outing, Thornton Fractional North was tipped by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 39-38, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a South Suburban - Blue outing on Tuesday, February 6. Richards will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 55-41 league loss to Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 11-16.
