The Spencer Tigers basketball team (Spencer, IA), was nudged 51-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA)
The Titans now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Sac County for a Twin Lakes battle on Tuesday, February 6. South Central Calhoun will battle a Raiders team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-13.
The Tigers (2-17) will now prepare for their battle against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 18-1 record. In their last battle, Sioux Central edged Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA), 72-37, in a league battle.
