In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY), by a margin of 61-30.
The Vikings (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY). The Lions go into the Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens I outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Bishop Loughlin was trounced by Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY), 79-46, in a league outing.
The Hilltoppers now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund Prep for a Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens II outing on Wednesday, February 7. St. Joseph Hill Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Poly Prep Country Day (Brooklyn, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.
