Illinois High School Basketball - St. Thomas More knocked off by Tri-Valley

The Tri-Valley Vikings basketball team scored 69 points and held the host St. Thomas More Sabers to 51 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heyworth for a Heart Of Illinois contest on Monday, February 5. Tri-Valley will battle a Hornets team coming off a 32-27 league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 7-20.

The Sabers (12-14) will now prepare for their contest against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians enter the Illini Prairie contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Pontiac ran past Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 53-22, in a league contest.
