Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) and the visiting Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN), saw Willmar's basketball squad wallop Tartan by a tally of 75-48.
With the victory, Willmar improves its record to 16-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Rocori (Cold Spring, MN) to confront the Spartans in a AAA Section 8 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-15.
Next up, the Titans confront the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Tartan will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 69-47 league loss to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
