Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Minnetonka knocks off Blaine

The Minnetonka Skippers trounced the visiting Blaine Bengals ice hockey squad by a count of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Minnetonka moves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Skippers host New Prague (New Prague, MN) to face the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-11. New Prague lost 11-0 in their recent non-league bout against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
The Bengals now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Elk River for a Northwest Suburban bout on Saturday, February 10. Blaine will face a Elks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Elks record now stands at 4-8.
