In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN), by a margin of 6-0.
The Crimson now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a Northwest Suburban challenge on Tuesday, February 6. Maple Grove will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
The Bears (2-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Hill-Murray was ripped by Edina (Edina, MN), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
