Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 4-3 in a non-league match.
The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their match against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 4-15 record. In their last match, St. Michael-Albertville was nipped by Bemidji (Bemidji, MN), 3-1, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Ponies clash with the Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN) in a Suburban East match, on Wednesday, February 7. Stillwater will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 6-11 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Anoka (Anoka, MN).
