In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) ice hockey team bounced the host Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN), by a margin of 8-2.

The Bluejays now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. Waseca will play a Packers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to La Crescent (La Crescent, MN). The Packers record now stands at 7-13.

The Governors (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans come into the Tri-Metro challenge with a 7-12 record.
