The Mahtomedi Zephyrs ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the host Simley Spartans to 1 in the Zephyrs league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Mahtomedi moves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Zephyrs travel to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN) to face the Raptors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. The Raptors go into the contest with a record of 3-13. East Ridge lost 6-0 in their recent league contest against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)
The Spartans now sport a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they host Albert Lea for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Simley will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
