St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting LaSalle Academy Cardinals (New York, NY), 74-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 16-2. Moore Catholic won 92-48 in their recent league bout against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Salesian Eagles (New Rochelle, NY) in a bout, on Saturday, February 10. LaSalle Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
