Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA), 68-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Shasta upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Black Bears travel to The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA) to play the Mavericks in a bout on Monday, February 5. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Panthers play the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 9. Pinewood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
