In Monday's league contest, the visiting Abramson Commodores basketball team scored a big 86-50 triumph over the New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus.

The Commodores (6-19) will now prepare for their contest against International (New Orleans, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, International was trounced by St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chambered Nautilus confront the Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 10 contest, on Thursday, February 6. New Orleans Charter Science & Math will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 22-8 record after their 58-43 league win over New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA).
