Maryland High School Basketball - McDonough triumphant over Bard

February 3, 2025: Pomfret, MD 20675

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) and the visiting Bard Falcons (Washington, DC), observed McDonough's basketball team overwhelm Bard by a score of 71-44.

The Rams (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, North Point trounced Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 67-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Bard will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 75-17 league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
