The Junction City Dragons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Bearden Bears to 45 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Dragons now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Ouachita for a 2A Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Bearden falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Bears host Taylor (Taylor, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 8 game on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 12-7. Taylor won 64-53 in their recent league game against Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR)
