In Monday's non-league test, the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT), by a score of 70-59.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) in a Berkshire test, on Friday, February 7. Shepaug Valley will attempt to improve on its 17-0 season record.
The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT). The Owls come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Whitney RVT went down by O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT), 52-51, in a league test.
