The Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) basketball were winner over the host Calvary Christian Academy Cougars (Philadelphia, PA), 56-45 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Cheltenham for a Suburban One - American bout on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Calvary Christian Academy falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA) to play the Knights in a Bicentennial bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Delaware County Christian won 64-53 in their recent league bout against Bristol (Bristol, PA)
