Maryland High School Basketball - North Point holds off Chopticon

February 3, 2025: Waldorf, MD 20603

The North Point Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Chopticon Braves to 61 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host McDonough for a Southern Maryland game on Wednesday, February 5. North Point will confront a Rams team coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Bard (Washington, DC). The Rams record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Chopticon falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to confront the Patriots in a Southern Maryland game on Wednesday, February 5. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 12-4. Northern won 62-49 in their recent league game against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD)
