Colorado High School Basketball - Lotus School For Excellence holds off Fountain Valley

February 3, 2025: Aurora, CO 80012

The Lotus School For Excellence Meteors basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Fountain Valley Danes to 43 in the Meteors non-league triumph on Monday.

The Meteors now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Arvada for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Lotus School For Excellence will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-34 league loss to Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Fountain Valley falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Danes travel to Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Highlanders in a 3A/2A Black Forest game on Thursday, February 6. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 9-7. Thomas MacLaren School won 64-44 in their recent non-league game against Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO)
