The Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers basketball squad (Gardner, IL), was crushed 71-34 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL)
With the victory, Ridgeview advances its record to 9-13 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to meet the Knights in a Heart of Illinois battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 16-6. Fieldcrest lost 67-56 in their recent league battle against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL)
The Panthers now own a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iroquois West for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 5. Gardner-South Wilmington will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 69-35 league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 9-14.
