Maryland High School Basketball - Gilman sneaks past McDonogh

The Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD) basketball edged the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 57-55 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Mount St. Joseph for a MIAA A - Black bout on Wednesday, February 5. Gilman will play a Gaels team coming off a 73-51 non-league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 15-11.
With the loss, McDonogh falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD) to play the Cardinals in a MIAA A - Red bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Calvert Hall lost 73-54 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD)
