In Monday's non-league test, the Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) basketball squad trounced the host Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN), by a final score of 61-32.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Gordonsville will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 18-2 record after their 77-34 non-league win over Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN).
The Purple Tigers (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Monterey (Monterey, TN). The Wildcats come into the 2A District 5 test with a 6-18 record. In their last test, Monterey was overwhelmed by Smith County (Carthage, TN), 74-51, in a league test.
