In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Southern Regional Rams basketball team scored a close 59-55 triumph over the Lacey Township Lions.
The Rams (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Indians go into the Shore A - South contest with a 2-14 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) in a Shore B - South contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Lacey Township will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 51-36 league loss to Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ).
