The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) and the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), observed Maquoketa Valley's basketball team overwhelm North Cedar by a score of 70-29.

The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central City (Central City, IA). The Wildcats come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 5-13 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Prince of Peace Prep Irish (Clinton, IA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. North Cedar will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 66-63 league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA).
