Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Star defeats Southern Huntingdon County

The North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), 52-42 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Rockwood for a Inter County - West bout on Tuesday, February 4. North Star will play a Rockets team coming off a 58-24 league loss to Windber (Windber, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 0-18.

With the loss, Southern Huntingdon County falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA) to play the Trojans in a Inter County - East bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Mount Union lost 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA)
