In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Princeton Tigers basketball team scored a good 54-38 triumph over the Ottawa Pirates.
The Tigers (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans go into the Three Rivers - East contest with a 17-7 record. In their last battle, Mendota thwarted Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 50-47, in a league battle.
The Pirates now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morris for a Interstate Eight battle on Tuesday, February 4. Ottawa will meet a Redskins squad coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 8-15.
