The Penobscot Valley Howlers were victorious over the host Stearns Minutemen basketball squad by a final score of 57-43 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next, the Howlers face the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) in a C North outing, on Wednesday, February 5. Penobscot Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 10-7 record after their 57-49 league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME).
The Minutemen (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines enter the D North outing with a 18-1 record. In their last outing, Schenck ran past Greenville (Greenville, ME), 70-24, in a non-league outing.
