The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) basketball walloped the visiting Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 56-29 in Monday's league game.

The Tornadoes now possess a 24-4 record. They play next when they travel to Annawan for a Lincoln Trail game on Wednesday, February 5. Abingdon/Avon will confront a Braves/Bravettes team coming off a 43-36 league win over Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Braves/Bravettes record now stands at 5-18.
