The Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars defeated the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 40-30 in Monday's non-league outing.
Next, the Cougars clash with the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks (Newark, NJ) in a Freelance outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Montclair Kimberley Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Hornets come into the Northwest Jersey - Independence outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Hanover Park overcame Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 47-30, in a non-league outing.
