The Breckenridge Cowboys basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Brandon/Evansville Chargers to 46 in the Cowboys league triumph on Monday.

The Cowboys now have a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hawley for a non-league game on Friday, February 7.

With the loss, Brandon/Evansville falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Rothsay (Rothsay, MN) to confront the Tigers in a A Section 6 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-10. Rothsay won 61-49 in their recent league game against Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (Graceville, MN)
