The Rebels (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels come into the 5A District 2 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, West Monroe was tipped by Sterlington (Sterlington, LA), 43-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Byrd will attempt to better on its 2-23 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-11 record after their 59-2 league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA).
