Ohio High School Basketball - Hilliard Davidson can't hold off Canal Winchester

Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH) fans went home pleased Monday as they observed their basketball team edge the host Hilliard Davidson Wildcats (Hilliard, OH), 40-39 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Teays Valley (Ashville, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Teays Valley edged Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH), 58-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks (Dublin, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Central challenge, on Friday, February 7. Hilliard Davidson will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Olentangy Berlin (Delaware, OH).
