In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Creston Panthers basketball team scored a big 60-27 triumph over the Clarke Indians.

The Panthers (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Earlham smashed Interstate 35 (Truro, IA), 63-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA) in a South Central contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Clarke will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Big Reds/Redettes go into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 70-49 non-league win over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA).
