Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO), 48-16 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Vail Mountain upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year. The Gore Rangers travel to Soroco (Oak Creek, CO) to face the Rams in a 2A/1A Western Slope match on Friday, February 7. The Rams enter the match with a record of 5-10. Soroco won 40-33 in their recent league match against Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO)

The Golddiggers now sport a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flatirons Academy for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High match on Thursday, February 6. Clear Creek will face a Bison squad coming off a 29-27 league win over Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO). The Bison record now stands at 9-4.
