In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Derby Panthers basketball team scored a big 80-26 triumph over the Junction City Bluejays.

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Hornets go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Valley Center smashed Andale (Andale, KS), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
