In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets basketball team scored a big 48-26 win over the East Knox Bulldogs.

The Yellowjackets (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Hebron, OH). The Lancers come into the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Lakewood smashed Heath (Heath, OH), 53-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mansfield Christian Flames (Mansfield, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. East Knox will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Flames come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 67-53 non-league win over Monroeville (Monroeville, OH).
