Spectators at Monday's non-league game between the El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ) and the host Greyhills Academy Knights (Tuba City, AZ), saw El Capitan's basketball team bounce Greyhills Academy by a tally of 37-15.

The Eagles now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fredonia for a 1A North game on Wednesday, February 5. El Capitan will play a Lynx team coming off a 50-35 league loss to Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ). The Lynx record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Greyhills Academy falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Spartans in a 2A North game on Tuesday, February 4. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-19. Northland Prep Academy lost 46-34 in their recent non-league game against Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ)
