In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored a good 58-46 triumph over the Forsyth Panthers.
The Fighting Irish (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Fair Grove topped Strafford (Strafford, MO), 65-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Reeds Spring Wolves (Reeds Spring, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Forsyth will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 53-43 non-league win over Clever (Clever, MO).
