The Bulldogs (12-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Eagles come into the Mississippi Valley challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Civic Memorial trounced Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL), 61-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Gibault Catholic will attempt to better on its 12-12 season record. The Musketeers come into the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 53-36 league win over Sparta (Sparta, IL).
