The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) and the host Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL), observed Triad's basketball team overwhelm Granite City by a score of 48-22.
The Knights (20-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Glenwood trounced Rochester (Rochester, IL), 47-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Madison Trojans (Madison, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Granite City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 51-20 non-league loss to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL).
