The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL) and the visiting Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), observed Harvest Christian Academy's basketball team edge Marengo by a margin of 53-47.
The Lions (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 12-14 record. In their last challenge, Marian Central Catholic was tipped by Guilford (Rockford, IL), 41-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Friday, February 7. Marengo will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 7-18 record after their 60-54 league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
