In their last challenge, Lawrenceville prevailed over Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL), 40-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenwave encounter the Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) in a Apollo challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Mattoon will attempt to improve on its 6-20 season record.
