The Middletown Middies basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Ursuline Academy Lions to 48 in the Middies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Middies now have a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Colerain for a Greater Miami game on Wednesday, February 5. Middletown will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 76-51 league loss to Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Ursuline Academy falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Lions host Seton (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Saints in a Girls Greater Catholic game on Thursday, February 6. The Saints go into the game with a record of 13-6. Seton won 49-41 in their recent non-league game against Goshen (Goshen, OH)
