The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA) and the visiting Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA), observed North's basketball team overwhelm Murdock by a score of 47-22.
The Polar Bears (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, North Middlesex Regional was routed by Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA), 49-14, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Murdock will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 54-33 non-league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA).
