The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) and the host South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), observed Urbana's basketball team overwhelm South Hagerstown by a margin of 55-14.
The Hawks (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Patriots come into the Central Maryland challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Governor Thomas Johnson trounced South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 51-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) in a Central Maryland challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South Hagerstown will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 50-36 non-league loss to Westminster (Westminster, MD).
