The Evangel Christian Lightning basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions to 14 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lightning now possess a 18-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wiregrass for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Evangel Christian will play a Kings team coming off a 51-36 league loss to Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Kings record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Mt. Pleasant Christian falls to 2-2 on the campaign.
