In Monday's non-league outing, the host Saugus Centurions soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins.

The Centurions (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes go into the Foothill outing with a 0-13 record. In their last outing, Castaic was edged by Canyon (Canyon Country, CA), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Griffins play the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) in a Heritage outing, on Tuesday, February 4. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 league win over Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA).
