The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) basketball nipped the host Greater Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Baltimore, MD), 62-56 in Friday's league test.
The Orioles (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Spencerville Adventist Academy was tipped by Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD), 51-16, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-State Christian for a non-league test on Monday, February 7. Greater Grace Christian Academy will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 82-48 non-league win over Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Kingsville, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-2.
